Who We Are
As Sons and Daughters of Obodoukwu in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo-State, Nigeria residing in United States of America with a high sense of unionism and oneness, we together form this independent organization called Obodoukwu General Assemble. We seek for oneness among our members and foster progress and welfare of our people back home in Nigeria.
We area a 501(C)(3) Registered Non-Profit Organization with IRS Employer Identification Number 92-0527953 operational within three regional affiliates covering East, West and South region of United States of America. In simple language, we are homogeneous community gravitating around our cultural heritage and tradition. This calls for pleasantness and solidarity. When the eyes cries, the nose cries too, one love keeps us together.
Our Mission
OGA promotes cultural and moral values in our communities through our programs targeted to bring people together, positively impact and transform our world by championing the provision of educational support, scholarships, healthcare assistance and awareness, community development, rural people empowerment and assistance to widows and orphans.
